Doug Donald
Doug Donald is Publications Specialist for Boomer Consulting, Inc. In this role he oversees all publications, including numerous articles published in state and national publications as well as the popular Boomer Advantage Guides.
Doug also performs an array of graphic design that is applied to marketing communications, instructional materials, logos and Boomer’s new eGuides (available on the Boomer Knowledge Network).
Doug brings to his position a strong understanding of the editorial process as well as thoughtful, creative attention to writing and design. He is proficient in several Adobe publishing applications, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. (Doug recently completed a series of specialized classes in InDesign).
Doug’s prior experience includes editorial oversight of a local news website as well as proofing technical manuals for a major technology company in Colorado.
Doug has been a part of the Boomer team since May, 2006.
Outside of work his interests include literature, religion and science. He also loves spending time outdoors, at local restaurants and watching college athletics. His greatest passion, however, is spending time with friends and family—especially his lovely wife Paula.
Doug is a graduate of Evangel University in Springfield Mo., where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English. He has also conducted coursework toward the completion of a Master of Arts in English at Colorado State University, with an emphasis on linguistics.
