From Knowledgeable to Knowledge-Able

Posted By Michael Wesch, PhD, Thursday, July 9, 2015

There’s "something in the air" and our first keynote speaker at our 2015 BTC Summit, Dr. Michael Wesch, is going to tell you how you need to adapt to be able to survive in the future.

Watch some of his 18 minute TED talk to see where we have a 74% failure rate and why we can’t live the next 100 years the way we’ve lived the past 100 years. And yes, there will be a test in our next Boomer Bulletin.

Dr. Wesch has won several major awards for his work, including a Wired Magazine Rave Award, the John Culkin Award for Outstanding Praxis in Media Ecology, and an Emerging Explorer by National Geographic. That unique combination means he’s received recognition as an expert in using technology in an outstanding process to teach about the future because of his expertise in looking at the past. See why we are super excited about his August 17th keynote presentation at our 2015 Boomer Technology Circle™ Summit in Kansas City? BTC Members, remember that you can bring 3 people to the Summit without an additional registration fee!

It’s not too late to join a Circle, visit as a guest or enroll in one of our two special tracks.  Visit our 2015 BTC Summit webpage to see how easy it is to connect with some of the most influential people in public accounting.
