Innovative Peers Spark Innovation

Innovation by definition is "the introduction of something new or a new idea, method, or device".  That is what happens at every meeting of The Boomer Technology Circles™, and here is the documented proof!

In the September issue of Practical Accountant, I was pleased to see one of our very own circle members, Thomas Marino of J.H. Cohn gracing the cover!  If that was not enough of a surprise, as I read on I discovered 10 more of our Boomer Technology Circle™ member firms that were among the winners of the coveted "Practice Innovation Awards" for 2004.  Those firms are:

  • Beall Barclay & Company, PLC – Creating a Paperless Environment
  • Clark Nuber PS – More Efficient Collaboration
  • DeBoer, Baumann & Company, PLC – Promoting Business Development
  • Eide Bailly LLP – Finding Specialized Staff
  • Held, Kranzler, McCosker & Pulice, LLP – Creating a Paperless Environment
  • J.H. Cohn LLP – Multi-Disciplinary Approach
  • Kennedy & Coe, LLC – Promoting Business Development
  • O'Sullivan Creel, LLP – Creating a Paperless Environment
  • Stonefield Josephson Inc. – Meeting Demand
  • Travis Wolff Advisors & Accountants – Staff Performance Change Agent
  • Withum Smith + Brown – Creating a Paperless Environment

Pride

The members of our circles are not only our clients, they are our friends, and when we see them succeed, we feel enormous pride in their accomplishments.  We truly want to extend our heartfelt congratulations to all of the firms that were recipients this year.

Confirmation

At Boomer, one of our core values is "to work only with clients that we respect".  While that may sound idealistic to some, it certainly appears to be working for us.  We have the highest respect for ALL of our clients, and because of that relationship, we can promote the accomplishments for any of them with assurance and admiration.

Confidence

The Boomer Technology Circles™ are in existence for one reason and one reason only… to assist in making the best firms in the country even better!  It appears that is what is happening.  When we see these tremendous firms getting even better, we are filled with confidence that we are providing the venue for the firms to take their expertise and knowledge to a new level – and it is working!

This year, our membership can boast that they captured 42% of the "Innovations Awards" for 2004.  So, here is your challenge… next year let's make it 75%!  We can do it; just keep looking for those new ideas, methods or device's that will drive your firm forward, then make a plan and get them implemented.
