January 2005 Circle Update
We normally think of January as a relatively quiet time for the Boomer Technology Circles™. And, as is normally the case, there are no “regular” Circle meetings scheduled this month. However, there are two special meetings of note.
First, Circle #6 which is made up of small and emerging firms, conducted “Virtual” meeting on Thursday January 13th. This meeting was conducted using web-conferencing technology and augmented the two traditional meetings this group held during 2004. The agenda included a Mad Lab, a review of the December 2004 Human Capital Symposium with key lessons learned, and a discussion on Microsoft software licensing options. If your firm is $1.5 Million or less, and you would like to join this group, contact Eric Hunt (erich@boomer.com) at 1-888-266-6375 right away.
The second very special meeting scheduled for January is our annual Learning Symposium. This session, one of the most anticipated of the year, is an annual gathering of training and firm-wide learning professionals from firms all over the country. It’s a great opportunity for trainers and learning coordinators to mix and mingle with others from all over the country who share their own special “island” within firms. We have a great agenda planned, and this is always a high energy, exciting group. If your firm’s learning coordinator isn’t yet signed up, have him or her call Eric Hunt today!
Best of luck from all of us at Boomer Consulting, Inc. as you begin 2005!
