I watched an interesting documentary recently about a company where the owner implemented a company wide program to improve the health of the employees and paid bonuses for changes in lifestyle such as weight loss, smoking cessation and increased exercise. Many of the employees found the owners commitment to good health the "push" they needed to get them started on a new path. So… why would an owner of a business care so much about employee health?

I work with people who take the time to serve me well, get to know me and who generally care about my well-being. Being a positive believer in building strong working relationships, I pay close attention to how I am treated when I purchase products and services from different people and companies.
June 2005 Circle Update

May was a busy, busy month for the Boomer Technology Circles™. Circles 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7 all met during the month, and our newest Circle, BTC #8, will meet the first week in June. After a long gap between meetings, due to tax season, members seemed anxious to reconnect with their peers and re-establish the friendships and working relationships which have built up in the Circles over the years.
