We are delighted to announce that Practice Engine has been chosen by CBIZ MHM, the US #7 accounting firm, as the solution provider for their firm of over 2,000 accounting professionals. This is our 28th order for Practice Engine in North America and takes us to 10 x US-Top-100 firms, employing over 7,000 staff in 100+ offices.
We have been discussing our solution with CBIZ MHM in great depth, with demo conversion of databases and application testing, to establish PE as the best choice for their firm. Some of the features in our current software release, including design improvements to increase scalability, were incorporated to ensure at CBIZ MHM we can scale to over 2,000+ users on one server.
CBIZ is one of the largest accounting firms in the USA, and with Practice Engine they will bring together all of their offices onto a centralized and standardized system. The first location to deploy PE will be scheduled to golive this summer then a fast rollout is planned.
Many of our clients are growing, some through merger and acquisition, and those reporting increased staff count this year include Bober Markey Federovich (Akron, OH), Deloitte (Hamilton, BDA), Frazier & Deeter (Atlanta, GA), Horne LLP (Ridgleland, MS), and White Nelson Diehl Evans (Irvine, CA).
One firm that is growing very fast is US#34 Warren Averett (Birmingham, AL), first through mergers in 2012 with Wilson Price (Montgomery, AL) and O’Sullivan Creel (Pensacola, FL), and now taking in GH&I (Atlanta, GA) and Pender Newkirk (Tampa, FL) to create a group with over 800 staff on a single server.
Merging different databases to create a single unified group system brings many benefits in terms of standardisation, cost, and analytics. It is not an expensive exercise and in a letter from Warren Averett their CIO Chris Morrow said ""Andrew and Adam did an amazing job, along with our internal staff, of integrating PE with our data warehouse. We are taking a hybrid approach of reporting out of both databases as of now. We couldn't be happier with PE!"
We closed our order book for 2012 in Q3 so we could concentrate on fast implementations at O’Sullivan Creel (Pensacola, FL), Mueller Prost (St Louis, MO), Clark Shaefer Hackett (Dayton, OH) and Berkowitz Pollack Brant (Miami, FL). All were fully installed and operational ahead of 2013 tax season.
We have now opened our order book for 2013 with this new order from CBIZ and we expect to add several more US Top-100 firms this year and also some in the US Top-200.
As always we express a huge thank you to everyone in our PE community who has reached out to new firms, explained the benefits of our web-based practice management solution, and shared their experience of using our systems.
In recognition of the strength of the PE brand. and our amazing growth in the USA in just six years, we have changed the name of our international sales and distribution operation from IDS Inc to Practice Engine International Inc.
