What happens at a Circle?
The Circle meetings
Circles meet together three times per year, for one and one-half days each meeting. Agendas include a mixture of information delivered by Boomer Consulting, Inc., by third party experts, and by Circle member firms themselves. Topics address best practices, lessons learned, and technology as a business accelerator.
Agendas will typically include:
- Reviews of accomplishments since the last meeting
- Information technology strategy and vision, focused on the accounting profession
- New trends, products, and services
- Combined sessions on topics of common interest
- Breakout sessions for owners and technology staff, addressing areas of specific interest
- Extensive networking opportunities
- A 90 Day Game Plan for action until the next meeting
What happens between meetings?
We offer a members-only website which serves as a communication vehicle between Circle meetings. From here a member firm can access:
- Contact information for all Circle member firms and individuals.
- A library of documents such as job descriptions and policy statements.
- Articles on relevant topics which can be viewed or downloaded.
- An interactive forum to post questions for specified audiences within the Circle family.
Current access policy holds that while a firm is the member, as many individuals within the firm as wish may obtain login credentials.
