The Boomer Technology Circles™

What happens at a Circle?

The Circle meetings

Circles meet together three times per year, for one and one-half days each meeting. Agendas include a mixture of information delivered by Boomer Consulting, Inc., by third party experts, and by Circle member firms themselves. Topics address best practices, lessons learned, and technology as a business accelerator.

Agendas will typically include:

  • Reviews of accomplishments since the last meeting
  • Information technology strategy and vision, focused on the accounting profession
  • New trends, products, and services
  • Combined sessions on topics of common interest
  • Breakout sessions for owners and technology staff, addressing areas of specific interest
  • Extensive networking opportunities
  • A 90 Day Game Plan for action until the next meeting

What happens between meetings?

We offer a members-only website which serves as a communication vehicle between Circle meetings. From here a member firm can access:

  • Contact information for all Circle member firms and individuals.
  • A library of documents such as job descriptions and policy statements.
  • Articles on relevant topics which can be viewed or downloaded.
  • An interactive forum to post questions for specified audiences within the Circle family.

Current access policy holds that while a firm is the member, as many individuals within the firm as wish may obtain login credentials.
