Four Honored for “Bridging the Gap” at Boomer Technology Circles™ Summit
Kansas City, MO – August 14, 2019 – Three individuals and one CPA firm took home “Bridging the Gap” awards after being honored on August 13th by Boomer Consulting, Inc. during the 2019 Boomer Technology Circles™ Summit in Kansas City, Missouri. Three of the awards honor firms and individuals within the accounting profession that excel in aligning technology and firm management while the fourth award recognizes an outstanding human resources and talent leader
Tracy White, Chief Human Resources Officer at Clark Number PS, was presented with the 2019 Bridging the Gap Talent Initiative Award. White created the Performance Manager Guide, which includes the new coaching relationships and implementation of Quantum Performance Software.
White has implemented and championed several initiatives in her firm, including streamlining the HR intranet, developing the stay interview process and shareholder retirement and succession. She is also a founding member and a natural leader within the Boomer Talent Circle (https://www.boomer.com/tc).
Clark Nuber (https://clarknuber.com/) serves privately held and family businesses, angel and venture-backed companies, public companies, foundations, not-for-profit and public sector organizations, and high net worth individuals and their families. Brad Place, Chief Information Officer at LBMC, was presented with the 2019 Bridging the Gap Technology Award.
Place worked his way from an outsider in the accounting profession to a trusted peer who knows how to support a dynamic, growing CPA firm. He led the initiative for the LBMC IT team to provide 5-Star Customer Service and built a strong relationship between IT and the rest of the firm.

Davis has progressed in his firm from a technology leadership role to a Principal, leading overall operations for the firm. He also played the interim-CEO roll while Jeff Wald, K·Coe Isom’s current CEO, was on sabbatical.
