Ready to Make a Difference in a Young Adult’s Life? Now You Can!
For the past several years Boomer Consulting, Inc. has been partnering with Eagle University (Eagle U), a four-day program designed to help high school and college students skip the entire trial-and-error process and get a seven-year head start on their future career and life. Each program is held in the summertime on a college campus. This year, Boomer Consulting, Inc. will continue our partnership and we are excited to announce we will be sponsoring full scholarships for six young people between the ages of 15 and 21 to attend camp this summer!
But don’t just take our word for it, hear testimonials from our clients whose daughters and sons have experienced Eagle U first hand!
Melody Sutton, Network Manager & IT Director for LattaHarris LLP said it best, “it’s one thing to get the tools, it’s another to believe you can use them.” At Eagle U, young adults will learn from successful leaders who have proven through their own success the principles they teach, including:
The formula for studying less and getting better grades
The secret to beating out the completion for the best scholarships and jobs
The three biggest career decisions - why most make them backward and end up far from where they want to be
How to be a powerful communicator in person, in writing and on stage
First impressions - how to impress every time in an interview, on a date or any occasion
How to answer the toughest interview questions
Financial success – what to do today to be financially secure tomorrow
How to find quality mentors who will help you succeed in life
How to increase your confidence and self-esteem.
Are you as excited as we are?! What are you waiting for?! This year camp will be held in Louisville, KY on June 25th- 29th, 2018. If you have a young adult in mind who is between the ages 15 and 21, have them apply. The deadline is March 2nd! It only takes a few steps:
Visit www.boomer.com/eagleu and click the “Apply Now” button. You will be asked to complete a simple application and have your young adult explain in 200 words or less why they want the opportunity to get a seven-year head start!
A collaborative group at Boomer Consulting, Inc. will review all applications and choose and notify six lucky scholarship recipients.
