As the Marketing Manager for Boomer Consulting, Inc., Heather’s primary focus is on developing the firm’s marketing strategy and brand awareness to help drive business results, as well as being a facilitator for the Boomer Marketing and Business Development Circle. Internally she manages and executes marketing and business development initiatives, with daily oversight of the website, social media and thought leadership content. In addition, as a part of the Business Development team, she provides leadership and strategic planning on marketing and communication practices for the firm.  

 

Before joining our team, Heather worked in Marketing and Exporting in the natural and organic food industry, providing strategic guidance in marketing including the management and content cultivation of social media channels, multimedia content for YouTube and graphic projects.

 

Prior to that role, she worked in the education field as a Marketing Director for one of the nation’s leading beauty and wellness colleges. Heather has 15+ years experience in marketing and brand management in a variety of industries including, corporate, education and retail.

Personal

 

Heather attended Kansas State University, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communications. In college, she competed for the KSU Track and Field team and was a member, now an alumna, of Kappa Delta. Heather is a Professional Certified Marketer and holds a PCM Digital Marketing certification. She currently serves as Vice-President of the Great Plains Transportation Museum. Heather loves her pets, Kansas State University sports, traveling, photography, running, wine, supporting local and throwing some big fist bumps to mother nature.
