As the Marketing Manager for Boomer Consulting, Inc., Heather drives the company’s growth initiatives and strategic marketing direction. With over 20 years of experience in marketing spanning wellness, hospitality, education and the organic food industry, Heather brings a wide-angle lens to the world of accounting firm marketing. She leverages her background in building brands and scaling businesses to help CPA firms elevate visibility, embrace innovation and align marketing with firm-wide strategy.

At Boomer Consulting, Heather co-facilitates the Marketing & Business Development Circle, connecting growth leaders to uncover insights, share best practices and collaboratively tackle growth and visibility challenges. Her leadership extends beyond the firm through her involvement in the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM), where she serves on the Summit Networking Committee and contributes regularly to industry publications.

Heather is a dual-certified marketer, having earned the Professional Certified Marketer designation from the American Marketing Association and the Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP) from the Digital Marketing Institute. She is known for anticipating digital trends and translating them into actionable strategy. She’s also spoken at the AAM Summit and the Winning Is Everything Conference, where she brings clarity and inspiration to marketing leaders across the country.

Unique Abilities

 

Heather is a very dependable individual who proves that hard work will take you to new heights. She consistently demonstrates flexibility when taking on and learning new tasks. She will bring a creative side to a new project, while still being focused to bring that project to completion. Overall, Heather is a very capable person who brings a wealth of knowledge to team environment.

 

Personal

 

Outside of work, Heather channels her creativity into helping nonprofits grow their voices by designing brand assets and websites using the StoryBrand framework. This passion led her to serve as the President of the Great Plains Transportation Museum. A lifelong traveler and avid photographer, Heather finds her most powerful marketing idea in unexpected places.

Heather attended Kansas State University, earning her Bachelor’s in Speech Communications. In college, she competed for the KSU Track and Field team and was a member, now an alumna, of Kappa Delta.
