Exciting Things to Look Forward to at ExpensiCon 2023 in Italy

ExpensiCon is this week and will take place in Puglia, Italy, from May 18 to 22, 2023. This invite-only retreat for accounting professionals is an annual event organized by Expensify, a global software company that empowers businesses and individuals with an expense management system and a business credit card. ExpensiCon will bring together accounting professionals and industry leaders from around the world to share ideas, network and learn about the latest developments in the field.

Today, I'm sharing some of the highlights I'm looking forward to at this year's event. From discovering a whole new part of Italy to hearing about the latest technology developments, there's a lot to be excited about.

Exploring a new part of Italy

One thing that I am particularly excited about is the opportunity to explore a new part of Italy. The conference will take place at the beautiful Borgo Egnazia Hotel in Puglia, Italy—a southern region forming the heel of Italy's "boot."

This charming area is known for its stunning beaches, historic architecture and fantastic food. There is so much to see and experience, and I'm looking forward to exploring this beautiful region and learning more about its rich history and culture.

Learning about the latest developments from Expensify

One of the main reasons I attend accounting conferences each year is to learn about the latest and greatest things solution providers have planned for now and in the future.

The Expensify team is always coming up with new and innovative ways to help individuals and businesses simplify how they manage money across expenses, corporate credit cards and bills. And I know they have many new initiatives on the horizon. From new features and upgrades to their core product to new services and solutions, there is much to be excited about.

I'm looking forward to hearing from the experts at Expensify about their plans for the future and how these developments will impact the accounting profession.

Connecting with other leaders in the profession

Another highlight of ExpensiCon is the opportunity to meet other leaders in the accounting profession, including firm owners, industry experts and thought leaders. The agenda offers many opportunities to network, share ideas and collaborate on new projects. Whether attending workshops, joining in on roundtable discussions or having casual conversations during cocktail hour, I look forward to connecting with other professionals who share my passion for accounting and technology.

Participating in fun and engaging activities

Of course, ExpensiCon is not all work and no play. The conference also includes a range of fun and engaging activities, from excursions to a sunset beach party. These activities provide a great opportunity to relax, unwind and forge new connections with other attendees. I look forward to being a part of these activities and enjoying all that Italy has to offer.

There are many exciting things to look forward to at ExpensiCon 2023 in Italy. From exploring a new part of Italy to learning about the latest developments from Expensify, meeting other leaders in the profession, and hearing from celebrity headliner George Clooney on building multiple businesses and engaging in projects that encourage social good. There's something for everyone at this premier accounting conference, and I'm looking forward to the many opportunities it will provide for personal and professional growth.

Will I see you there?
