Bart Nichols is a Solutions Advisor at Boomer Consulting, where he works closely with accounting firms of 200 employees and under, helping them get the most value out of Boomer’s peer communities. With a master’s degree and certification as an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation, Bart brings both structure and depth to every client interaction.

Before joining Boomer, Bart built a 20-year career in talent development and leadership, guiding teams and organizations through transformative initiatives. Most recently, his work in the accounting industry has encompassed leadership, strategic planning, and coaching and mentoring. Bart is known for building trust, listening deeply, and helping firms align who they are with where they want to go

​When free to use his strengths, Bart starts the problem-solving process by fact-checking and determining practical and appropriate priorities. Next, he looks for ways to fit the project into the system. Then, he advocates for what needs to stay the same. Finally, he visualizes solutions.

Bart is fantastic at making comparisons, documenting information, and defining priorities. He can be counted on to research historical details, become an expert in areas of special interest, and make strategic decisions.
Personal ​
Bart lives in Kansas City with his wife, Christine and cat Maisie, who also happens to be in HR at a Boomer peer community firm. Together they enjoy trail cycling, live music, and exploring the art of great barbecue. Until recently, Bart was the lead singer in a blues band. He’s also a proud dad of two grown sons and grandfather of two.
