As a Growth Administrator for Boomer Consulting, Inc., Katie supports the organization’s growth team across three interconnected areas: social media coordination and execution, executive support for the Chief Growth Officer, and product and resource development through the Boomer Knowledge Network.
Katie brings a rich background in marketing rooted in more than 17 years in the coffee industry, where she managed coffee shops and helped guide the industry’s evolution from mainstream chain culture into specialty coffee. Through that work, she developed a passion for understanding the connection between product and customer and figuring out how to bring the two together effectively. She later channeled that interest into a boutique furniture business, where she led marketing efforts and further sharpened her skills in brand positioning and customer engagement. She’s also the creator of The Simplified Society, a planning resource she developed independently.
With Boomer Consulting, Katie is energized by the opportunity to test new ideas, learn what works, and build something meaningful, bringing the same curiosity and persistence she’s applied throughout her career.

Personal
Katie lives in Kansas City, where she’s spent most of her adult life after spending her early years in Minneapolis. When she’s not at work, you’ll find her out walking with her husband and their border collie/golden retriever mix or at home with the two cats that round out the family.
