Our Boomer Circle members and sponsors have returned to their firms after another successful Boomer Circle Summit. This year’s event once again brought together leaders from all our Circle Communities to share knowledge, foster collaboration and strengthen connections across the accounting profession.

We enjoyed following the #BoomerCircleSummit2025 hashtag on LinkedIn and seeing the many moments that resonated with our members, sponsors and team. Here are just a few highlights.

“Culture is the key”

Erin McAuley, Chief People Officer at Springline Advisory, shared her appreciation for a powerful session exploring the drivers and detractors of firm value when evaluating private equity investment. Panelists Bill Dunton, Josh Beck, Ron DeSoiza, and Boomer Consulting’s Jon Hubbard emphasized the critical role of culture in building sustainable firm value.

“Exciting to see how quickly our profession is evolving”

Matthew Weil, Technology Operations Coordinator at Rudler, reflected on insights around AI, automation, and growth strategies for CPA firms. His takeaway? The rapid pace of change in the profession makes it more important than ever to explore new ideas and implement them back at the firm level.

“It’s the little things that make a big difference”

For Hannah Sadler, Human Resources Business Partner at Dean Dorton, one of the most memorable aspects of the Summit was not just the content, but the community. She shared a story of Bart Nichols, Boomer Consulting Solutions Advisor, going above and beyond to ensure she could attend a group outing by lending her a clear stadium bag. Her post captured the spirit of connection and kindness that defines our Circles.

“Excited to see how this event continues to get better and better every year!”

Jennifer Barnes, Process and Solutions Manager at Boyum Barenscheer, highlighted the fun and camaraderie of the Summit, sharing photos with peers and colleagues. Beyond learning sessions, the event created opportunities for attendees to exchange ideas about processes, initiatives and firm improvement strategies in an energizing environment.

“Great to catch up with longtime friends”

Matt Sutorius, Shareholer and Head of Client Advisory Services at Clark Nuber, appreciated reconnecting with Mark Edmondson of Inflo during the Summit. Their conversation underscored how valuable these in-person events are for both professional development and personal relationships.

These are just a few of the many great moments from this year’s Summit. Thank you to all our members, sponsors and friends who made the 2025 Boomer Circle Summit a success.
