Introducing the Boomer Circle Summit

Boomer Consulting's peer communities started in 1999 with just one group: the Boomer Technology Circle. Over the years, our communities have grown to include four Technology Circles as well as eight more: the Boomer Talent Circle, the Boomer Managing Partner Circle, the Boomer Operations Circle, the Boomer CIO Circle, the Boomer Business Transformation Circle, the Boomer Process Circle, the Boomer Marketing & Business Development Circle, and the Boomer Learning & Development Circle.

As we've expanded from one Circle to many, we've had many requests to co-locate meetings with other groups. For example, Operations Circle members might want to meet with IT professionals from the Technology Circles and Technology asks to meet with the Talent or Marketing & Business Development Circles, etc.

Trying to figure out how to co-locate and schedule all of these joint meetings would be a logistical nightmare. So we came up with another solution: the Boomer Circle Summit.

What is the Boomer Circle Summit?

The Boomer Circle Summit will bring together leaders from across the accounting profession to discuss pressing issues and opportunities and help create alignment across all firm areas: leadership, process, talent, growth and technology.

For most of our Circle members, this means they get an extra meeting each year.

The event will feature the following:

Keynote speakers, workshops and breakout sessions

The Summit will feature some of the profession's top experts and thought leaders. During keynote sessions, workshops, breakouts and deep-dive content blocks, their ideas will help you continue navigating the accounting profession's rapidly changing landscape.

These sessions will arm attendees with the tools and knowledge they need to stay ahead of the curve as they transform their firms. Our goal is for the Boomer Circle Summit to become a central meeting place for all of our communities and for attendees to return to their firms, having laid the foundation for stronger cross-functional collaboration.

Facilitated planning sessions

We know how challenging it can be to get everyone in the firm on the same page and rowing in the same direction – especially when leaders from different areas attend separate conferences and hear different messages. The Boomer Circle Summit solves that issue by bringing together people from all areas of the firm.

When multiple members of the firm attend the Boomer Circle Summit, they can take advantage of the opportunity to do a facilitated planning session with other leaders in the firm to discuss and strategize for the firm's future. No matter what area of the firm they're focusing on – leadership, process, talent, growth or technology – they're sure to come away with actionable insights they can apply to the practice.

Inspiration for everyone

By connecting with other leaders in the accounting profession, attendees can learn what has and hasn't worked for other firms, sharpen their leadership skills, build a better understanding of top issues and opportunities and get inspired by thought leaders. Partners, managers, C-suite leaders and staff members will benefit from the experience and knowledge of our thought leaders and speakers.

We hope you will take advantage of this unique opportunity to transform your firm and ensure you are well-positioned for success in the future.
